Milwaukee® Launches a Fixed Blade Hawkbill Knife for the Utility Industry

MILWAUKEE, WI- Milwaukee Tool continues to deliver industry-specific products for linemen with the introduction of the Fixed Blade Hawkbill Knife.

Ideal for stripping cable, the new Fixed Blade Hawkbill Knife has a curved “hawkbill” blade that engages material to easily strip insulation from cable. The full tang, stainless steel blade has a sharp cutting edge that is engineered to stay sharper longer. An oversized, ergonomic handle provides a comfortable user experience and makes the knife easier to maneuver while wearing electrical PPE gloves. A lanyard hole allows linemen a convenient way to tether when required. For added utility, it also comes with a durable, molded sheath for safe storage and fast access.

From the power plant, through transmission and distribution, it is Milwaukee’s goal to improve reliability and productivity for linemen. With a base of tools on the M18™ system already used by linemen, game-changing utility crimpers and cutters, the new Shockwave™ Lineman’s Accessory solutions, and now the Fixed Blade Hawkbill Knife, Milwaukee is committed to making this goal a reality.
